Bryan Rivera is a 2023 C/1B, UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Leto HS. Recorded a 7.66 second 60-yard dash time. Athletic frame with long limbs and room to fill out. Primary catcher with a short arm stroke and gets out of the crouch quickly. Arm plays well with throws recorded up to 74 mph. Quicker release with arm strength to work with. Secondary first baseman who shuffles into release with a compact arm. Clean and loose arm stroke with some feel for working to both sides. Arm played from secondary positions of infield and outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a good mound presence. High leg kick with a three-quarters arm slot and a short arm action. Throws across his body to generate arm side run. Works quickly and pounded the zone while flashing a 12/6 curveball he could land for strikes. Righthanded hitter with a wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Keeps it simple and works to the middle of the field. Shorter stroke and gets on plane with some strength. Loose swing and shows some loft at the end of the stroke. Good student.
