Travis Etheridge is a 2022 OF/RHP, 3B, MIF with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from Louisville, KY who attends Louisville Male. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.27 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, stays low moving towards the ball, fields the ball to side and shows softness to glove skills, glides through transfer and shows athleticism, aggressive through release and shows accuracy to throws, occasionally gets under the ball at release. Also pitched, side step moving into delivery and gets tall on backside, hip turn at top and lands slightly closed at release while working from an over-the-top release point. Fastball topped out at 70 mph, did a nice job of filling up the zone, pitched to contact and mixed in a curveball at 59 mph. Righthanded hitter, begins with a spread and even stance in the box with a medium hand set. Loads hands back at start of swing, does a nice job of staying compact through the zone with swing. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger, gets wide moving into contact and can shorten up, linear path through the zone and shows a handle for the barrel out front. Good student.
