Fred Ramos is a 2021 MIF/OF with a 5-7 155 lb. frame from Hayward, CA who attends Arroyo. Compact frame with broad shoulders and an athletic build with strength in upper half. Ran a 758 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary middle infielder. Fields the ball out front from a wider base with a clean funnel. Full arm action in back after exchanges. Gets on top of the ball with snap to throws creating some carry at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out as a secondary outfielder. Short strides when closing to the ball. Full arm action through the back with some looseness. Upright release after a crow hop exchange. Lefthanded hitter with narrow stance. Very high leg lift for timing. Short and quick with hand path. Creates some barrel whip through the zone with some lift out front. Feel for the barrel with jump to the pull side of the field. Good student as well.
