Shea Linnehan is a 2021 MIF/3B with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Encinitas, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Medium to large build with room to fill out and grow as he continues to develop, posted a 7.21 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder, fields out in front, long legs have the ability to cover some territory up the middle of the field. Good first step reads off the bat. Makes the routine play consistently, projectable actions and frame in the infield. At the plate, uses an upright conventional stance with a leg kick trigger. Higher handset, hands work hard down to the zone. Works hard to keep his hands inside the baseball. Middle to opposite field approach. Plenty of room for his power tool to grow. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
