Christian Hafey is a 2020 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Grand Junction, CO who attends Grand Junction. Long lean build with present athleticism. Ran a 7.06 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed deliberate closes to the baseball with athletic footwork working to and through the ball. Fields to the side of the ball with confident glove actions and clean transfers into throws. Displayed good arm strength with accurate carry to the bases from a three-quarter arm slot topping out at 81 miles per hour from the outfield. Left handed hitter. Employs an upright narrow stance with a leg lift trigger and linear start. High intent swing with the ability to get the barrel head out and create loud contact to the pull side. Looks to elevate the ball with a naturally leveraged plane creating consistently driven fly balls to the pull side. Showed good barrel control with consistently driven contact to the middle and opposite fields. Great student.
