Kai-Lun Huang is a 2019 OF with a 5-5 154 lb. frame from Taichung City 407. Very young player, lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.73 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, showed high energy actions to the ball and a long, loose arm action. Came straight over the top with the ball with active footwork and a good charge. Showed arm strength up to 83 mph with accuracy. At the plate, started with a tall stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Worked the middle of the field with a linear swing plane and raw bat speed. Swing worked primarily through the upper half. Will continue to improve with additional lower half in swing and strength through maturity.
