Chin-Hao Kuo is a 2017 RHP with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Taichung City, Sel. Medium build with a lean frame. Projects for additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher who worked exclusively from the stretch. Shows a high leg kick and gather well and balance point. Keeps weight back over the rubber and utilizes lower half well while striding towards the plate. Front foot lands in line with the plate and clears hips well at release. Created some deception with body and hide the baseball well from a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball has some life to the bottom of the zone with some sneaky heaviness, topped at 77 miles per hour. Curveball had 9/4 shape with early sweep and some depth to glove side. Has good feel for the curveball offering and can throw for strikes in positive and negative counts. Showed good overall command of the zone with the ability to work each edge of the plate consistently. Mixed pitches well and kept hitter off balance through each inning of work.
