Jackson Bishop is a 2019 LHP/ with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Hales Corners, WI who attends Whitnall. Large frame with long limbs and an athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Primary left handed pitcher balanced side step to leg lift delivery. Smooth arm circle back at separation and releases from a full, high three-quarters arm slot. Tends to create some front side swing when working to the plate but carries momentum to finish while landing on line with target. Fastball flashed occasional running action with downward angle to the plate topping at 75 miles per hour. Curveball had 1/7 shape with good spin and late depth when staying on top of offering and working to the bottom of the zone. Also flashed a straight changeup in the low 70's. Consistently filled the strike zone when staying in line with the plate through finish, developing fell and command to each edge of the plate. Tools and velocity will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
