Sean Ashenfelder is a 2025 C/SS/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from St. Johns, FL who attends Creekside. Long and lanky athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.70 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher but a true all position athlete who could really develop as a utility player, grades out pretty equally as a catcher, infielder and outfielder. Has clean actions behind the plate, plenty of lower half quickness and flexibility, makes accurate throws with some carry, projects at the position as he gets stronger. Speed gives him a chance to have plus range in the outfield, profiles best as a third baseman on the dirt. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a toe tap load, well-timed swing with an all fields approach, very good barrel skills with some present bat speed and more to come, lots of offensive projection.
