Matthew Omohundro is a 2021 3B/RHP, 2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Dothan, AL who attends Dothan. Flashed a medium frame with a very sturdy, filled out lower half. Athletic tendencies showing throughout. Primary Thirdbaseman showing clean mechanics and footwork working into the baseball. Shuffles into the throws with arm strength showing. Accurate from all angles. Glove proving to be an asset with soft hands. Secondary Righthanded pitcher working into a belt high leg lift with weight balanced. Full effort on each pitch looking to get the fastball on hitters hands. Finishes on the firstbase side of the mound. Fastball up to 85 mph. Righthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a closed off front side. Hands dropped to start and then flashed plus bat speed while utilizing an uphill swing path. Looks to do damage as he drove the baseball out of the park to the pull side in batting practice with ease. Great feel for the barrel as he squared it up consistently. Great Student.
