Austin Robinson is a 2022 2B/RHP, C, 1B, OF with a 5-6 155 lb. frame from Palatka, FL who attends Palatka. Small frame with an athletic build and room to add in the future. Ran an 8.43 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Sits back while fielding out front with a funnel up. Developing footwork to the baseball. Accurate throws across the diamond topping out at 67 miles per hour. Also worked out as a catcher. Sets up in a high side straddle stance. Gains ground towards the bag with deliberate actions out of crouch. Longer action in the back with accurate throws down to the bag. Righthanded hitter with a wide slightly open stance. Utilizes a short leg lift trigger for timing and a lean back load. Displays some bat speed through the zone with a line drive path. Compact hands with strength at contact and a middle of the field approach. Secondary righthanded pitcher working primarily from the stretch. Creates some coil at the gather. Longer circle in the back with some arm whip to delivery and releasing from a three-quarters slot. Lands closed and creates crossfire actions. Short run on the fastball topping out at 66 miles per hour. Pitches to contact with a sinking changeup.
