Logan Clark is a 2019 1B/RHP with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Omaha, NE who attends Creighton Prep High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Primary first basemen, showed a longer arm action through the back with balance through actions. Accuracy on the move with good footwork throughout. At the plate, started with a spread base, slightly open stance, and a slight crouch. Shifts weight hard onto front side causing occasional timing issues. Shows raw bat speed when on time. Looseness to swing with lift off the barrel and strength to drive in the air. Worked pull side and up the middle. Also pitched, worked from the first base side of the rubber, deliberate delivery, short, compact arm action, and threw from a tight three quarter arm slot. Landed on-line and in a good position to field. Fastball worked 73-75 mph with short arm side life and sink when kept low in the zone. Best command to arm side with varying release points. Also showed a curveball with depth and slowed arm speed through release at 65 mph. Will continue to improve with repetition of delivery and additional drive from lower half.
