Tommy Golbranson is a 2021 MIF/ with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Newport Beach, CA who attends J Serra. Large lean build, reads hops well off the bat in the infield. Gathers well, fields out in front, transfers quickly. Solid carry on throws across the diamond, possesses solid accuracy as well. Showcases good feel for the position with range into either hole. At the plate, uses an open stance with a longer front foot stride. Compact stroke stays inside the baseball well. Extends his hands through the zone consistently. Linear weight shift in the box creates leverage with balance. Line drive barrel plane. Excellent student with a 4.0 GPA.
