Anthony Wilkie is a 2024 RHP/1B with a 6-6 215 lb. frame from Gainesville, FL who attends F. W. Buchholz. Extra tall athletic build with wide shoulders and plenty of room to get stronger. Repeats his delivery very well for his size and has some deception in his delivery, tunnels his three pitches very well. Fastball worked consistently in the upper 80's with more to come, had nice sinking action and generated lots of ground ball contact, hard for any hitter to lift down in the zone with his angle and sink. Slider and change up were both effective off-speed pitches, lots of depth on the slider, change up was tough on left handed hitters. 7.08 runner in the sixty, played first base when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, stays short to the ball for his length and keeps his timing and swing simple, has quick hands and handles the barrel well, showed big pull side power when everything came together, has a chance at the next level with the bat. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Clemson.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
