Wallace (Tre') Jones III is a 2018 OF/LHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Jersey Village HS. Nice athletic build with good present strength and room for more, long arms. 7.13 runner, shows good arm strength in the outfield and makes accurate throws. Left handed hitter, narrow open stance, has quick hands and creates bat speed, pull line drive swing approach, can impact the ball hard when on time. Also pitched, high 3/4's arm slot, works from the stretch with a slow paced delivery and keeps things simple. Mid-80's fastball, reached back and touched 88 mph with two strikes on a hitter. Curveball showed good tightness and bite. Has a chance to be a two-way player. Good student.
