Ethan Harrast is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Oak Brook, IL who attends Hinsdale Central HS. Medium frame with solid build; body projects well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Sets up to hit from wider-based stance with high back elbow, moves into swing well, pull-middle approach with lift to stroke, good hand speed throughout, shows good extra base pop with consistent barrel skills, took several good swings in game. Worked out in the infield, quick feet with efficient footwork, has good athleticism, throws accurately from multiple arm angles with throws clocked up to 84 mph. Also pitched, compact delivery with three quarters slot, ball comes out well with good life, fastball worked 80-84 mph and peaked at 85 mph. Showed slight crossfire with some angle, hides ball well, stayed around the plate, worked in 11/5-shaped curveball with good depth and spin. Excellent student.
