Nick Arias is a 2022 2B/RHP, MIF, IF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Tucson, AZ who attends Tucson Magnet. Medium frame with slender, young build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.40 seconds. Hits from even stance with balanced set, hands set high, torques well through hips into swing, line drive plane with solid bat speed, shows whole-field approach and executes it well. Worked out in the infield, swivels hips well and gets hands extended into proper position, hands work well, quick release with accuracy across the diamond, clocked up to 81 mph on throws. Also pitched, side step delivery into medium-high leg kick, lands inline, wraps wrist through the back, throws from high three quarters slot, creates good angle, fastball worked 77-79 mph with good arm side life, landed a curveball for strikes at times. Very good student.
