Colin Shreves is a 2018 C with a 6-0 178 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Christian Brothers College HS. Medium athletic build with some present strength and the potential for more. Right handed hitter, spread and open stance with a well timed close and a good shift into contact, gets the barrel out early with a short and direct swing path and works pull side to mid-field, has some bat speed and handles the barrel well with consistent line drive contact. Game approach in drills, has solid footwork and gains ground into his throws, repeats his mechanics with a compact arm action and makes accurate throws, 2.00 best pop time, can continue to work on lower half quickness and flexibility. Projects to keep improving.
