Vincent Dimauro is a 2020 3B/RHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Gainesville, VA who attends Brentsville District. Medium build, strong and athletic frame with long limbs. Ran a 8.22 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, solid glove skills, developing foot speed, developing arm strength with carry. Also pitched, short rocker step to begin windup, gathers well at balance point with leg kick slightly above waist, smooth and repeatable delivery, lands slightly closed, loose and easy arm action to an extended 3/4 arm slot, creates deception in delivery striding towards righthanded batters box, repeats it well with good command. Pitches off the fastball to both sides of the plate, challenged hitters with fastball and worked ahead in the count, mixed in a tight slider with god feel out in front. Lefthanded hitter, narrow base, upright and slightly open stance, high hand set with a high back elbow, leg kick trigger, some shift into contact staying tall on front side at contact point, direct hand path to baseball, slightly lifted barrel plane, some fluidity to swing, stays compact through finish, leveraged some to pull side, mostly line drive contact to pull side in round with power potential.
