Armando Briseno is a 2022 3B/2B/SS with a 5-11 173 lb. frame from Fontana, CA who attends Etiwanda. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced stance with a small toe tap trigger and stride and quiet, fast hands to start his swing, hits behind the ball well, swings with intent and good strength at contact, calm and well timed and squares up the ball consistently, has the ability to drive the ball in the air to the gaps. 7.22 Named to the Underclass All-American Games Top Prospect List., is light on his feet on defense and has plus fundamental footwork, compact arm with a quick release. Extremely polished SoCal player with some tools that will continue to grow as he gets stronger, will play above his tools. Very good student, verbal commitment to Long Beach State.
