Nolan Jackson is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Philomath, OR who attends Philomath HS. Large frame with good present physicality, projects well moving forward as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.25 seconds. Primary left-handed pitcher, shorter arm stroke up to high three quarters arm slot, good balance through delivery with solid downhill drive with lower half. Fastball worked 73-76 MPH with good deception out of hand. Showed curveball with 1/7 shape and some depth; did a good job of throwing both pitches for strikes. Sets up to hit from open stance with spread feet, loose swing with solid bat speed, shows jump to the pull field with developing strength and power to all fields. Good extension through contact. Worked out defensively at 1st base, showed good athleticism around the bag, swivels hips nicely into throws to both bags, arm strength clocked up to 74 MPH.
