Aaron Straka is a 2019 OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Edgewood, WA who attends Puyallup HS. Large frame with solid, athletic present build; body projects very well also being presently strong. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.07 seconds. Shows rotational swing mechanics, strength into swing is obvious and beneficial, gets on line drive swing plane and shows ability to generate leverage off of front side. Stroked a few deep into the air with good carry off the barrel, additional power will continue to manifest with additional strength gains and more reps. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Moves well to the ball with deliberate footwork, fields cleanly out front and is able to work through the ball, shows good accuracy on throws to the infield with arm strength clocked up to 75 MPH. Very good student.
