Broc Selstrom is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Centralia, WA who attends Centralia HS. Nice athletic build, strong with room to get stronger. Short and compact arm action, tight 3/4's arm slot, low effort delivery with good balance, stays on line with the plate, tends to cut off his arm out front, some deception with hiding the ball from the hitters. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight with occasional sink, works down in the zone well with his fastball and gets ground ball outs. Soft curveball with some 11/5 shape and developing feel. Right handed hitter, tall open stance with a high hand load, limited shift to his front side, leans back and swings, handled the barrel well, spray contact. 7.37 runner. Good student.
