Brett Falkner is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Gresham, OR who attends Gresham HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; body projects well for additional strength moving forward. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.54 seconds. Sets to hit from pre-loaded stance, shows good approach to all fields with some sweeping action to barrel, compact stroke with hands through zone, did a good job hitting the ball to all fields with developing strength. Worked out defensively in the infield. Shows good footwork through the ball with good balance, clean glove actions at the ball, good fielding ability overall, shows quick release across the diamond with good accuracy to target, clocked up to 75 MPH on throws. Very good student.
