Logan Sauve is a 2022 C/2B/3B with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Boiling Springs, PA who attends Cumberland Valley. Medium, athletic frame with some present strength to frame, additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, nice quickness to lower half and implements lower half while repeating footwork well, higher slot on throws down to second base, quick release, shows consistency in actions and mechanics. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide, open stance and a high hand set at start; utilizes a short leg lift trigger at start for timing. Short stride moving into contact, stays direct with hands and gets on plane well. Repeats swing nicely, routinely finds the barrel and shows present hit tool, power projects, works to all fields with comfort. Very good student. Verbal commitment to West Virginia.
