Alex Dawson is a 2017 OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Richmond, BC who attends R.A. McMath HS. Tall and slender young build, projects well physically. 7.22 runner, moves well to the ball in the outfield but tends to slow to field it, developing arm strength, made accurate one hop throws. Right handed hitter, spread stance with a stride into contact, short swing path, keeps his hands tight to his body, mid to right field approach, can improve with better separation through contact, good swing plane.
