Josh Winchester is a 2019 IF/C with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline HS. Tall and lanky athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. Has good lower half athleticism and flexibility behind the plate, gets low behind the plate and shifts and moves well, tends to stand up to throw from behind the plate, makes accurate throws and is consistent in his actions. Also played the infield, showed the same type of lower half athleticism and balance, makes accurate throws from different arm slots, plays well on the move. Right handed hitter, quiet load and shift with a short downward swing, contact approach with mostly pull contact. Tools play best behind the plate, especially if he can get stronger. Good student
