Noah Souza is a 2017 C/OF with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Issaquah, WA who attends Skyline HS. Large, physical frame with lots of strength throughout and some room to fill remaining on build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.33 seconds. Sets up to hit with hands set high and static, generates good bat on line drive plane, gets to positive launch angle and has the ability to drive the baseball deep. Very loud contact consistently with very good power now and more coming with continued development. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Receives well with soft glove hand, stays low in crouch and explodes out into throwdown mechanics, gains ground well and made consistently accurate throws to the bag, popping as low as 2.19 seconds. Named to 2016 Northwest Showcase Top Prospect List, very good student.
