Josh Glazewski is a 2018 RHP/3B, SS, C with a 6-2 168 lb. frame from Santa Maria, CA who attends Ernest Righetti. Large frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple rock step to high leg lift delivery. Stays balanced at gather with slight coil over back leg. Utilized lower half well while drop and drive actions to the plate. Deep arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball showed good life through the zone with some running action to arm side topping at 83 miles per hour. Slider had 9/4 shape with loose spin and occasional tilt to glove side in the low 70's. Maintained arm speed very well with a changeup offering that flashed late sink in the low 70's. Attacked hitters early in counts while establishing fastball before looking to off speed to finish hitters. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing clean footwork while surrounding the baseball. Funnels from a slightly deeper position and works through exchange with fluidity. Solid momentum while moving towards the bag and released from a three-quarters arm slot topping at 84 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, even stance and toe tap trigger. Works to contact with linear lower half actions. Simple, direct hand path to baseball with an uphill barrel plane through extension. Swung with the intent to lift the baseball through the gaps and showed solid jump off the barrel when creating separation at contact. Outstanding student as well.
