2016 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Timothy Glavin is a 2018 OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Hockessin, DE who attends Wilmington Christian High School. Large, athletic frame with broad shoulders and present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.36 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, fields the ball out front and hands play well at the ball, takes short steps moving towards it, falls off with front side at release, short arm action through the back, lower arm slot at release, shows accuracy to throws and projects with additional lower half incorporated into release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a bent knee stance and uses a toe tap trigger for timing at start of swing. Full swing path through the zone and stays through the ball well, shows a feel for the barrel and can turn on the inner half pitch, pull side approach at the plate. Shows strength and carry to the pull side with ability to loft, upper body dominant swing, creates nice extension out front at the point of contact. Good student.
