Keaton Candor is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Merrill, IA who attends Le Mars. Medium frame with a solid build and present strength. Projects for additional strength with continued physical development. Ran a 7.31 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with aggressive, athletic footwork while closing to the baseball. Fundamentally sound glove actions while funneling the baseball with clean, quick exchanges while working through transfer. Created and extended arm circle back at separation and releases from a high three-quarters arm slot topping at 83 mph. Throws created accurate, on line carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with an slightly open, upright stance and leg lift trigger. Creates slight front side coil at load producing good hip torque. Hands load to a deeper slightly barred position. Swings on a loose, naturally lifted plane while aggressively attacking baseball. Shows intent that creates solid bat speed and strength at contact.
