Andrew Tenczar is a 2018 SS with a 5-11 163 lb. frame from Sammamish, WA who attends Skyline HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic present build; good projection remaining physically. Ran well, posting a 6.89 seconds 60 yard dash time. Switch-hitter, shows inside-out swing path from left side with good barrel feel. Shifts well into contact, squaring it up cleanly out front on line drive plane with all-field approach. Bigger stride from right side with line drive plane, went up the middle when square with solid linear jump off the barrel. Showed solid strength in swing from both sides with more coming. Worked out defensively in the infield. Light on feet, moves well to the ball to both sides as well as in, fields cleanly and maintains balance and athleticism through fielding. Gets off clean release with smooth arm action, clocked up to 74 MPH across the diamond. Very good student.
