Jack Ritzer is a 2017 RHP/ with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Deep Creek High School. Extra- large frame, large build, strength, and a compact lower half. Primary right handed pitcher, hid the ball well, short stride to the plate, uptempo delivery, repeated well, generates extension, long arm circle, and threw from a high three quarter arm slot. Worked downhill well and laid off barrels generating weak contact. Fastball worked 73-75 mph with cut action and control to both sides. Online landing and changed looks and throws. Also threw a curveball at 65 mph with depth. Also worked out as a hitter, started with an even stance, high hand set, and a deeper hand load. Showed impact off the barrel to pull side with strength at impact. Inconsistent lower half with developing bat speed.
