Joel Haskin is a 2020 2B/RHP, IF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends Real Life Christian Academy. Medium and stocky frame with broad shoulders. Ran a 7.28 second 60 yard dash. Primary second baseman who took reps in the infield, good balance to actions and nice hands out in front, showcased good range especially up the middle, average arm strength topping out at 79 mph across the diamond. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts windup with a side rocker step up to a high leg kick, loose arm action up to an over the top arm slot, arm really works well, sits deep on back leg and drives off it well, stays online down the mound, gets out over front side with some tilt at take back, fastball topped out at 78 mph. Righthanded hitter, long and downward path to the baseball, hands work well into swing with a simple trigger at load, has some strength off of the barrel with a developing feel for the barrel, finishes long and high.
