Matthew Polk is a 2021 RHP with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Milton, GA who attends Cambridge HS. Recorded a 7.90 second 60-yard dash time. Tall lean frame with lots of room for physical projection. Primary righthanded pitcher with a compact delivery and slight pauses throughout. Belt high leg lift and throws from a three-quarters arm slot. Works to the glove side well with the fastball that topped out at 80 mph. Stays online down the mound well with the lower half and the fastball has slight arm side run. Curveball is softer with 11/5 shape and he can land the pitch well. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a narrow stance. Upper half dominant swing who is looking to work to the pull side. Timing is solid and has a deeper hand plunge though he gets the barrel head out well. Good student.
