Jamison Watson is a 2019 C with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Maceo, KY who attends Daviess County. Medium frame with athletic present build; good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.84 seconds. Sets up to hit from even-based stance with high hand set, strides online with hips, drops hands on plane early, gets onto line drive swing plane with good extension through contact. Middle-field approach with good plate coverage skills, showed good ability to make consistent contact, will drive the ball more as he continues to get stronger. Worked out defensively behind the plate. Narrow-based set with good flex, leans forward a bit, shows solid receiving skills and gets feet moving into throwdown, releases way out in front of plate, shows good accuracy to target with pop time as low as 2.15 seconds and arm strength up to 66 mph. Very good student.
