Cade Mitscherling is a 2019 UT/SS with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Victoria, TX who attends Victoria West HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic frame; ran 60 yard dash in 7.27 seconds. Hits from wrapped start, quiet load in hands, middle-field approach with compact stroke on line drive plane, shifts well into contact, showed ability to make consistent contact back through the middle, flashed ability to work to all fields. Showed well defensively in the infield, athleticism in footwork with balance, smooth actions throughout, fields cleanly and shows quick release, clocked up to 79 mph across the diamond with big projection. Very good student.
