Nicholas Rhodes is a 2019 LHP/C with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Carteret, NJ who attends Bishop George Ahr HS. Has a lean build and frame with plenty of room to continue to fill out as he further matures. Posted a 7.91 second sixty yard dash. On the mound, has an easy delivery, quick through motion, and has solid use of his lower half. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot with a long arm circle through the back. Breaking ball has smaller break and is tough to read out of his hand. Repeats mechanics. From the outfield, has footwork to the baseball with full arm action on throws, has tools to continue to develop well at position. At the plate, left-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set, high back elbow, and leg lift trigger. Has a simple swing on a line drive swing plane, repeats it well and has feel for the barrel, produces lots of balls back up the middle. Excellent student.
