Trevor Ravelli is a 2017 OF/UT with a 5-9 175 lb. frame from Modesto, CA who attends Fred C. Beyer. Medium frame with present strength throughout. Projects for additional strength. Ran a 6.90 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with smooth, athletic actions while closing to the baseball. Creates good momentum while working through transition with a crow hop into release. Fluid glove actions while funneling the baseball with clean exchanges. Generates good arm whip while throwing to the bag, throws created very good carry with accuracy topping at 91 mph. Also worked out defensively from the infield showing smooth footwork while surroudning and working through groundballs. Clean actions while funneling the baseball with developing fluidity while working through transfer. Shows a strong arm from the infield as well producing good carry across the infield, topping at 87 mph. Right handed hitter with a slightly open stance. Creates some front side coil and load generating good torque. Weight shifts into front side at contact producing present bat speed and strength through extension. Controls barrel well throughout the zone with quick hands to impact allowing for all fields contact. Baseball jumps off the barrel with tight backspin that generates good carrry to the gaps whens squared. Good student. Named to 2016 NorCal Showcase Top Prospect List.
