Andrew Garcia is a 2019 SS/2B with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Seminole HS. Recorded a 7.37 second 60-yard dash time. Lengthy frame with long limbs and plenty of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with good footwork and glove actions. Accurate throws across with arm strength up to 76 mph. Quick releases on throws and projects well at the position. Righthanded hitter with a small toe tap into his stride. Shifts weight well into contact with the toe tap functioning as a timing trigger. Medium hand set with a high back elbow. Big hand load with consistent contact up the middle and to the opposite field. Some element of controlling the barrel with the ability to impact the ball out in front. Good student.
