Wayne Abbott is a 2019 2B/SS/RHP with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Rancho Cordova, CA who attends Capital Christian HS. Small frame with a slender build and room to add. Ran a 7.12 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary second baseman. Fields underneath with two hands. Young and developing arm with accurate throws topping out at 74 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an open stance and a tap load. Tight hands to the body through contact. Middle of the field to opposite field approach. Handles the barrel well. Righthanded pitcher with an average paced delivery. Throws from a three-quarters arm slot and generates some tilt. Long arm circle in back. Straight fastball topping out at 75 miles per hour. Inconsistent spin on the curveball. Very good student as well.
