Michael Crowley is a 2017 SS/3B, 2B with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Buchanan, NY who attends Hendrick Hudson High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a long, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.34 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and quickly gets the ball out of glove, sound athleticism with smoothness to actions, clean and repeats them well, shows range to either side and has the comfort to make accurate throws from multiple release points. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high back elbow and lower hand set in the box. Uses a toe tap trigger for timing at the plate, short and inside swing path, loads hands back at start of swing. Stays short to the ball, projectable bat speed with additional physical strength, shows a feel for the barrel and shows comfort working to the middle of the field. Very good student.
