Andrew McDaniel is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Lafayette, LA who attends St. Thomas More HS. Young body and face, lots of physical projection. Pretty simple delivery a high 3/4's to over the top arm slot and some energy at release, gets over his front side well and repeats his mechanics. Fastball topped out at 92 mph, mostly straight, works his fastball to spots with intent. Threw both a curveball and slider, the two meld together at times but both show tight quality spin, curveball was nasty at times with big biting depth. High ceiling young arm who has an idea what he's doing. Good student, verbal commitment to Mississiuppi.
