John Tyler Jimenez is a 2020 OF/1B, SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Deer Park, NY who attends Half Hollow Hills West. Medium build, young and lean frame with room to fill and time to fill out physically. Ran a 5.29 second 40 yard dash. Primary outfielder, shorter steps to the baseball sitting back and waiting on the ball, fields out in front mostly clean, upright release locking out against front side, short and hooked arm action into throw, pure arm with carry, average arm strength at this time that could increase in time, topped out at 81 mph from the outfield. Righthanded hitter, wide base with a low back elbow at set position, smooth load with a short and simple shift into contact, needs to get stronger for increased bat speed through the hitting zone, developing extension through contact, glove is best tool at this time.
