Jaelyn Brooks is a 2017 OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Monroe, GA who attends Monroe Area High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a very impressive 6.58 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, developing actions through the ball with raw arm strength. Will continue to improve throws with additional lower half. At the plate, started with a wide base, open stance, high hand set, high back elbow, and utilizes a quick leg lift timing mechanism. Swing works primarily through lower half with a deep, wrapped start. Developing timing at plate with a line drive swing plane. Ability to drive the ball when timed and have impact off barrel.
