Christian Pansini is a 2020 OF/2B with a 5-9 135 lb. frame from Westfield, NJ who attends Westfield. Compact frame with a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Ran a 7.18 sixty yard dash. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to the baseball. Reads hops well while funneling the baseball. Worked through exchange well and released from a three-quarters slot creating some carry to the bag at 74 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and large leg lift trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a linear barrel plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout and employed a mid field approach. Also pitched showing a smooth paced side step to high leg lift delivery. Stays tall at gather and works to the plate with drop and drive actions. Released from a three-quarters slot created some downhill plane with sink in the low 70's. Displayed good feel for fastball with the ability to work to each edge of the plate. Curveball had 11/5 shape with looser spin and some depth in the low 60's. Good student.
