Ryan Slovak is a 2021 2B/RHP, 1B, 3B, OF with a 5-10 157 lb. frame from Ridgefield, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary second baseman with deliberate footwork while moving to and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling and worked through transition with loose actions. Released from a three-quarters arm slot creating occasional on line carry across the infield at 71 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an even, balanced stance and quick front side trigger. Works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Lets ball travel to a deeper hitting position while employing a mid field approach. Displayed best jump off the barrel when connecting with baseball out front. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition.
