Jake French is a 2019 OF/RHP with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Winter Springs, FL who attends Trinity Preparatory School. Recorded a 7.06 second 60-yard dash time. Extra large frame with long limbs and lots to project upon. Primary outfielder with very good arm strength recorded up to 89 mph into the infield. Longer arm stroke and attacks the ball. Hands work nicely into the transfer and fields smoothly with positive momentum toward the target. Righthanded hitter with a narrow base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Spread open start with a full swing path and maintains swing plane nicely. Middle of the field approach with projectable power to the pull side. Quick hands and strength through the point of extension. Good student. Named to the 2018 Florida Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
