2018 PG Fall Top Prospect National Showcase
Josh Gray is a 2019 OF/1B with a 6-3 190 lb. frame from Jacksonville, FL who attends Providence. Large and physical frame with present strength proportioned well throughout, high waist. Ran a 6.86 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to it with quick footwork to the baseball, fields the baseball out in front with smooth hands and a clean funnel into his body, comes out of his hand clean with average arm strength, works through the baseball well carrying his weight to his target, topped out at 84 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, meets the baseball out in front with a repeatable swing, the ball comes off of the barrel well will lots of leverage to path and bat speed through the hitting zone, worked from gap to gap in game and wore out the pull side during his round of batting practice.
