Elias Urena is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-10 136 lb. frame from Miramar, FL who attends Pembroke Pines Charter. Urena has a medium sized frame with a lean build. In the outfield he showed good actions and attacked the baseball well. Urena plays through the baseball well and showed good athleticism. He has a quick arm and a quick release with arm strength up to 82 MPH. At the plate he starts with an open stance with a wide base. Urena uses a double toe tap trigger to start his swing and gets closed. He has a rotational swing and gets on plane with his barrel consistently. Urena hit consistent line drives to all fields. He showed solid hitting tools to develop with strength gains. Good student.
